The machine function is to cut paper, plastic materials, aluminium of the following type at preset measurements from reels to sheets:

- PAPER (weight in grams from 10 to 250 gr/sq. m)

•    for shopper (paper bags)

•    for package (for pastry shops, dry-cleaner, etc.)

- PLASTIC MATERIALS (weight in grams from 25 to 200 µm)

•    polyethylene

•    polypropylene (metallised and not)
•    polyester
•    celluloid
•    others

- ALUMINUM (weight in grams from 50 to 200 gr/sq. m)

The machine performs the following functions:

•    unwinding the sheet to be cut with reel braking;

•    preset size cut of the sheet using a turning blade and a fixed counterblade;

•    accumulation of cut sheets in the picking and stacking area.

The machine has been designed for completely automatic use: after setting the desired cutting format, it automatically unwinds the reels of material to be cut and gathers the cut sheets in an Altapila stacker.

For models fitted with a photocell, an automatic device perform a continuous control of the cutting gauge and determines the automatic stop of the machine if the cutting occurs ten times beyond the set mark.

The set format value is displayed on the specific panel fitted on the electric board.
